MANASSAS, VIRGINIA, May 29, 2015 - Chantilly Air has demonstrated its commitment to safety by successfully advancing to International Standard - Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 3 certification and renewed their Wyvern Wingman status. By becoming IS-BAO Stage 3 certified, Chantilly Air joins an elite group of less than 1% of North American private aviation operators to comply with the on-site third party audits that verify its crew members and staff are actively participating in the safety documentation and processes required. This certification is the highest IS-BAO certification offered to aircraft operators.
While all aircraft charter providers are obligated to abide by FAA Part 135 regulations, only those providers that independently choose to participate in the third party guidelines are audited and eligible to receive the prestigious IS-BAO and Wyvern certifications. "Providing our clients with the knowledge that we have gone above and beyond what the FAA requires of an aircraft operator is part of our customer commitment" commented Caleb Stitely, Chantilly Air's Marketing and Client Relations Manager.
"Our team has worked very hard to set a high standard in business aviation. By receiving this IS-BAO Stage 3 accreditation, we illustrate to our customers and vendors our sincerity in providing the highest level of safety in our operations while delivering the industry's best customer service." Added Tim Sullivan, COO and Director of Operations for Chantilly Air. "We will continue to demonstrate Chantilly Air's commitment to safety in the aircraft charter, management and maintenance industries."
