Chantilly Air began as a single jet, corporate flight department in 1990 and has enjoyed tremendous success and growth over the years expanding our business offerings to include aircraft charter, management, maintenance, hangar, and ground support. Our company was originally established as a corporate flight department to support the diverse business entities of our owners, the Gudelsky family, who have enjoyed an established business reputation in the Washington, DC metro area for over 75 years

Focused on our principals’ philosophy, safety is, and always will be, first. We have successfully completed numerous onsite safety and compliance audits by industry recognized aviation audit firms such as Wyvern Ltd. and ARG/US. Chantilly Air is a Wyvern Approved Operator for having an exemplary safety record, superior equipment & processes and strict adherence to best industry practices.

Chantilly Air has over 20 years of experience in corporate aviation. With our staff of highly experienced personnel, we are fully capable of supporting your company’s flight operations needs with our aircraft maintenance, fueling, charter and management services and have ample storage available within our approximately 70,000 square feet of hangar space.

As an FAA Part 145 Repair Station, Chantilly Air provides expert repairs and maintenance for your aircraft. Chantilly Air’s FAA-maintenance facility comes equipped with the latest technology, equipment, and the highest trained maintenance technicians in the business. All Chantilly Air maintenance technicians and service personnel receive regular training from the manufacturer’s approved training providers such as Flight Safety International as well periodic on site Manufacturer Factory Training, such as Bombardier Learjet and Pratt and Whitney, to keep up to date with the latest technologies available.

As part of our allegiance to our industry, we maintain membership and active participation in the aviation community through various associations such as the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the Greater Washington Business Aviation Association (GWBAA), the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), and the Air Charter Safety Foundation.

    Chantilly Air Earns IS-BAO Stage 3 and Wyvern Wingman Certification

    Chantilly Air has demonstrated its commitment to safety by successfully advancing to International Standard - Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 3 certification and renewed their Wyvern Wingman status. By becoming IS-BAO Stage 3 certified, Chantilly Air joins an elite group of less than 1% of North American private aviation operators to comply with the on-site third party audits that verify its crew members and staff are actively participating in the safety documentation and processes required. This certification is the highest IS-BAO certification offered to aircraft operators.

    Chantilly Air Adds Wi-Fi to its Challenger 601

    Chantilly Air is pleased to announce that its Challenger 601 now offers Wi-Fi onboard. This Challenger 601 aircraft, based at its Manassas, Virginia headquarters, has a range of up to 3200nm and provides clients with the range and connectivity they require to create a "board room in the air."
